Bags, other leather goods and silver jewelry from WE ARE OA, S.L. purchased in Europe are protected, in compliance with European regulations, by a limited warranty of two years from the date of the original receipt. For the warranty to be valid, it will be necessary to keep and present the original receipt of your purchase.
If the item that we have sent to you is defective, OA would assume the shipping cost for its exchange, return or repair. If any problem is detected, it must be communicated within a maximum period of two months and within two years after the date of purchase.
What does our warranty cover?
Our warranty covers defects in materials and manufacturing both on leather and silver products. Here we include, for example (and as long as it is not the result of an accident or misuse), the arrangement of:
- Spare parts shipment
Only products that have been acquired through official sale channels, both online and physical, will be covered. During the warranty period we will try to repair the product at no cost to you. In case the repair generates additional costs (because, for example, it is not something contemplated in the warranty), we will inform you of the cost before carrying on with the repair.
If it is not possible to repair it, we will replace it with the same product or with an equivalent one of your choice (if possible) if the same it is not available. Please note, if we send you a new replacement item, we will not send you the defective/damaged item.
If you receive a damaged, defective or wrong product, please contact our customer service team at firstname.lastname@example.org as soon as possible. You must identify your order number and the product purchased.
Our products are handmade, so they may present slight differences with regard to the images shown on the web. As of leather, because it has a natural treatment such as vegetable tanning, maintains its natural characteristics and could show scars and other variations. At OA we believe that this is precisely what makes them so special.
Therefore, a product is considered to be in good condition and conforms to the order placed as long as it fits its description and maintains the characteristics and quality detailed in our website, in addition to the fact that it can be used for its purpose.
What does our warranty does not cover?
As of leather, the warranty will not cover the possible variations in color and texture because it is not a defect, but a (wonderful) characteristic of natural leather.
No theft or damage or flaw resulting from misuse and / or poor maintenance of the item (visit our guides Leather care and Silver care and cleaning for more information and advice) or intentional damage.
Some examples of accidents or misuses that the warranty will not cover are:
- Stains of any kind
- Color transfers
Neither will it cover aspects related to the general wear of the product caused by normal use after a prolonged period of time. By "general wear" we mean the normal deterioration resulting from a long period of use. This wear, therefore, is not related to the manufacture or materials of the product.
Likewise, in no case will the damages caused as a result of alteration, misuse, maintenance or repair by third parties be covered.
All returned items will be examined by our team.
In case you have to send us a defective product or with some problem that the warranty can cover, we will assume the costs of the shipment. We only ask that, before sending your product for evaluation in case you require the use of the guarantee, remember to write to email@example.com so that we can give you the necessary indications.
